- Age
People who are in the middle age like 40s-50s will get diabetes much more easily than young people. Although, there are people who got diabetes at the age of 20s but the risk is not as high as compared to middle age people.
- Lack of Exercise
It best advised to exercise regularly. People who exercise little or do not exercise are more prone to diabetes.
- Drug Induced
Clozapine (Clozaril), olanzapine (Zyprexa), risperidone (Risperdal), quetiapine (Seroquel) and ziprasidone (Geodon) are known to induce this lethal disease.
- High Alcohol Intake
People who are excessively drinking alcohol also can get diabetes.
- Pregnancy
Pregnant lady should watch out on their diet. Many pregnant lady got slightly higher glucose level during their pregnancy and that is normal. However, too high will cause diabetes too.
