All About Vitamin E

Vitamin E is an antioxidant that is fat-soluble, it also protects vitamin A and essential fatty acid from oxidation in the body cells and prevents breakdown of body tissues.

Vitamin E will stop cholesterol from forming into plaque, which will allow the blood to flow properly. If you don’t use vitamin E, in this situation, the blood will stop flowing and the arteries will begin to get backed up. As most of us know, this is the main cause of heart attacks, high blood pressure, and other serious diseases.

Vitamin E protect against the damaging effects of free radicals, which may contribute to the development of chronic diseases such as cancer. Vitamin E is often used in Cosmetic products for healing scars and is one of the great product for acne scars.

What will happen when there is deficiency of Vitamin E?
Lack of Vitamin E in human is very rare. For certain cases that maybe lack of Vitamin E are people who cannot absorb dietary fat due to an inability to secrete bile or with rare disorders of fat metabolism are at risk of vitamin E deficiency. Prematured Babies or people who are born with abnormal genetic.

What will happen when there is an excess intake of Vitamin E? The risk of having too much Vitamin E is also low. However, the long term safety of vitamin E supplementation has not been tested. Vitamin E can be found in
Wheat germ oil, Almonds ,Safflower oil and Corn oil etc.

All About Vitamin D

Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin that helps to maintain the blood level and regulate the formation of bone structure and absorb the phosphorous and calcium. As Vitamin D control the movement of calcium, it is very important for healthy growth of bone.

What happened when deficiency of Vitamin occurs?
If deficiency occurs in children, it will cause deformed bones and joints whereas if it happened to an adult, softening of bone will cause the bone to become weak and brittle often known as osteomalacia.

People aged 45 years old onwards requires more Vitamin D as they are the group of people that are most common to have deficiency of Vitamin D. Vitamin D start to decrease as our age goes up. Post Menopause women are advise to intake more Vitamin D through milk or calcium pills as they are easily to have hip bone fractured resulting from osteoporosis.

What happened when you intake too much Vitamin D?
Nausea and Vomitting, Constipation, Poor or No Appetite, No Strength and weight loss, Lack of concentration. High Blood Level are likely to happen causing heart beat to be abnormal.

Suggested intake for infants is 1000IU and childrens, adults and pregnant women is 2000 IU. Anything that is over the dosage will produce adverse effect.

All About Vitamin C

Vitamin C is one of the most important vitamins for your body. It prevents a lot of diseases, and increases your body’s immune system. You can take this vitamin with or without any food, as it can be found in supplement form or in many different juices. Along with being found in supplement and vitamin form, you can find vitamin C in broccoli, peppers, oranges, lemon juice, mustard greens, cauliflower, papaya, and parsley.

Vitamin B are required for our metabolism of fats and proteins. It also provide energy for the conversion of glucose.

Some times deficiency of Vitamin B occurs due to the following factor: Too stress , eating too much processed food, Drugs and Toxins or the daily diet that we eat does not contain enough Vitamin B.

All About Vitamin A

Vitamin A was first discovered back in 1912, by a Polish biochemist named Casimir Funk. He came up with the word vitamine, which was later given the name vitamin. Funk was the first to discover vitamins, vitamin A was actually the first one discovered, hence the letter “A” in the title of the vitamin.

Vitamin A is required by the body on an every day basis to maintain healthy skin and keep your eyesight on track.

On a normal day, you should be consuming around 5,000 international units (IU) of vitamin A. Depending on your health and your age, you may need to consume more or less.


What happened when a deficiency of Vitamin A Occurs?
If you don’t consume enough vitamin A in your diet, you’ll end up with a deficiency. It results in skin problems, increased infections, and even night blindness as well. A prolonged deficiency in vitamin A can put you at a risk for cancer as well, and you’ll also miss out on any effects of anti aging that the vitamin might have. Although you should begin taking it immediately if you have a deficiency, the effects wouldn’t be the same as they would be if you stayed up to date with the right amount on a daily basis.

Cucumber and Honey Mask

This recipe is great for oily skin and is easy to make.

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons of powdered oats
1 Egg White
1 teaspoon of Olive Oil
1/2 tablespoon of honey

Instruction:

1) Place all the ingredient together and mix until blended or mix it together with a food processor.

2) Place the mix ingredients in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes.

3) Apply the chilled paste onto your face and leave for 20 minutes and wash off.

Your skin should feel clean and tight now.
