Vitamin E is an antioxidant that is fat-soluble, it also protects vitamin A and essential fatty acid from oxidation in the body cells and prevents breakdown of body tissues.
Vitamin E will stop cholesterol from forming into plaque, which will allow the blood to flow properly. If you don’t use vitamin E, in this situation, the blood will stop flowing and the arteries will begin to get backed up. As most of us know, this is the main cause of heart attacks, high blood pressure, and other serious diseases.
Vitamin E protect against the damaging effects of free radicals, which may contribute to the development of chronic diseases such as cancer. Vitamin E is often used in Cosmetic products for healing scars and is one of the great product for acne scars.
What will happen when there is deficiency of Vitamin E?
Lack of Vitamin E in human is very rare. For certain cases that maybe lack of Vitamin E are people who cannot absorb dietary fat due to an inability to secrete bile or with rare disorders of fat metabolism are at risk of vitamin E deficiency. Prematured Babies or people who are born with abnormal genetic.
