Do you know which vitamins you lack of?

Everyone knows that the human body needs a certain amount of vitamins and minerals everyday to function properly and remain healthy. A well balanced diet can supply your body with the vitamins it needs, although problems and disorders can arise if your diet doesn’t supply your body with the vitamins it needs. The symptoms of vitamin deficiency will normally present themselves when the lack of vitamins is at an advanced level.

Lack of Vitamin A and Provitamin A Carotenoids
- Skin disorders and eye damage
-Risk of Developing Cancer
Food that contains Vitamin A: liver, dairy products, eggs, fish liver oil and Dark Green, Red or Yellow Vegetables.

Lack of Vitamin B
-Visual Disturbances
- Paralysis
- Staggering
- Loss of sensation in the legs and feet
- congestive heart failure
Food that contains Vitamin B:Cereals, oatmeal, corn, nuts, cauliflower, and sunflower seeds.

Lack of Vitamin C
-Restless
- Weight loss
- vague muscle aches
- Bleeding gums
- Impaired lung function in children
Food that contain Vitamin C: Citrus Fruits such as Oranges, Papaya, Broccoli, Potatoes, Red cabbage, Cauliflower, Cantaloupe and Brussels sprouts.

Lack of Vitamin D
- Softening of Bone
- Hip Fracture for women
- Prostate Cancer and Breast Cancer
Food that contain Vitamin D: Liver, Egg Yolk and Fatty Fishes.

Lack of Vitamin E & K
- Easy Bruising & May increase the risk of hip fractures in women
Food that contain Vitamin E &K: Wheat Germ Oil, Canola Oil, Soybean Oil, Olive Oil, Mangoes and Avocados.
Vitamin E is good for skin and healing scars.
